James Dyson Award

The James Dyson Award is an international design award that celebrates, encourages and inspires the next generation of design engineers. This years New Zealand winner invented the Voronoi Runners, a shoe made from using only 100% biodegradable materials. They offer a solution to the large amounts of waste impacting the environment from the footwear industry. By eliminating adhesives the shoes allow the materials to be separated and composted individually.
